Trinity and Kiara...December 2010

It's amazing how quickly a child grows up.  You turn your head for a second and when you turn back, the child has changed.  That's how it felt when I had the opportunity to do a photoshoot of Trinity and Kiara.  I have known Trinity since she was a baby but during this shoot, I was amazed at how much she has grown up since the last time I saw her.  Her joy and energy was evident throughout the morning and it was so priceless to witness it firsthand.  And Kiara, she's definitely photogenic, she loved staring into the camera lens and was so sweet during the session.

Cal and Judy, thank you so much for letting me document your lives.  I had such a blast.

The following is a photobook that we did from the shoot.

Katia and Vince

Katia and Vince...I had a blast with their engagement session.  What a beautiful Southern California morning to go with a great looking couple. What a perfect match.  Below are some pictures from the session as well as some thoughts from Katia and Vince.

Katia and Vince, thank you both for such a fun session and the being a witness to your fun love nature as well as your love for one another.

Mike & Freada

When I think of a wedding ceremony, what comes to mind? Bride in a white wedding dress, groom in a tux, church setting, flower bouquets, and walking down the aisle.

Mike and Freada's  decided to honor Freada's Khmer upbringing and had a Khmer traditional wedding ceremony. Being able to attend and photograph Mike and Freada's wedding was such a great experience, I was able to first hand experience and witness the colors, details and pagentry that were involved in a Cambodian wedding ceremony. Thanks Mike and Freada for such a memorable experience.

Megan Chan

It was a rainy Saturday morning as I arrived at Hubert and Jean's place for the shoot. That's pretty rare in this part of Los Angeles but this has been an unusually wet season. But boy do we need the rain here in LA. The most enjoyable thing is watching the news and "Breaking news...storm watch 2010." Hilarious...a drop of rain becomes "Alert Storm Watch."

I loved observing the interaction between Megan, Jean and Hubert. It never gets old for me to observe the love and tenderness between parents and their first born.

As all parents know, once you have a baby, you not only have a new addition to the family, but you end up adding a bunch of new "toys" and these are not toys that us boys exactly wish for.

I bet Megan wakes up in the the morning and thinks, which of these carrier will I want to sit in today? Hmmm... the bouncer? Nope. How about the swing? Na. The car carrier? That's it, want mommy and daddy to take me out.

Thanks Hubert, Jean and Megan for allowing me to documents your life this rainy Saturday morning.
