John and Reza...Husband and Wife

On May 17th, 2009 John and Reza looked into each other's eyes and before God, family and friends, said "I do" to one another. We were blessed to be a part of their wedding when Reza asked Jordan to be the flower girl. It meant a lot to us and to Jordan to be asked to participate in John and Reza's wedding. The wedding was beautiful and fun...which reflects both John and Reza. I tried to capture some of the beautiful moments of their wedding without getting in their photographer's way. By the way, there's quite a few of Jordan for no particular reason. :)

"'Till death do us apart..."

Jordan is happy, really she is. See the picture below.

LA Cool.

Here's the ring bearer, Isaac Lockmer, isn't he a handsome looking fellow? At one point he called Jordan his girlfriend. I guess that was ok for me given the event. :)

Note: Jordan has a crook in her neck.

Note: Jordan still has the crook in her neck.

John's parents.

These are my favorite shots from the wedding. You can just sense the tenderness and love between Reza and her dad right before the procession.

Jordan...no posing. You are holding up the procession.

Worship.

John did the breaking of the glass, which is a Jewish wedding tradition. One of the interpretations of this tradition is that the marriage will last as long as the glass is broken...which is forever.

Chocolate and Red Velvet Cake.

John, Reza and the wedding party did a great hip hop dance routine to the song, Joyful Noise (Flame and Lecrae). Then they broke out into a "Soul Train Line" and the party really got started.

Presenting, John and

Congratulations John and Reza.
