It was a fun photoshoot of Raquel and her girls. We had to take pictures quickly as the church administrator saw us and wanted to shoo us out of the church because we didn't have a permit. Thankfully, able to get some shots. A beautiful family.

Nicholas, a photo session
Had an opportunity to take picture of Nicholas who is on his way to college. He was a good sport when I asked him to climb the tree and run down the hill and jump.
Thanks for spending the time with me on your photo session.
Margo...A New Life
Jesus came to earth of He can give each of us a new life, not physical but spiritual life when we accept Him as our Lord and Savior.
My church small group got to witness Margo and her family new spiritual life when we had a baptism service this year, right before Margo was call home to be with Jesus.
We met Margo and her family as she was fighting a battle with cancer. Through the past six or seven months, we worshipped together with Margo and her family, served them in providing meals, and built a strong friendship with them. We had hoped that Margo body, would be able to fight off the cancer but that cancer is a strong SOB and fought back.
Eventually, Margo knew that as she was growing weaker, she wanted to be baptized with her family so on a warm Summer evening, our small group gathered together to celebrate her life and her family's baptism.
What a time of celebration of joy and hope in the midst of Margo illness.
So long, Farewell
This past Summer, we attended a farewell appreciation for our friends Paul and Rebecca as they are leaving the church they have been at for many many years and moving on to new opportunities. We are very thankful for their friendship and look forward to what God has in store for them in the coming year.

Picture Day with Paul, Rebecca and family
Had the pleasure of spending a nice Fall afternoon with Paul, Rebecca and their kids. We had a blast taking pictures and observing the joy of being a kid. Their kids wants to just explore and run and roll down the grassy slopes. Believe me, they had their share of running and rolling down the grassy slope.
Thank you Paul, Rebecca and family for allowing me to capture your lovely family.

Puerto Escondido, Mexico
Anytime that I am able to travel out of the country, that is a good thing.
Recently the family and I went to Puerto Escondido with some friends for some R and R. You might be wondering, never heard of Puerto Escondido. So here are some facts from my observations:
Where exactly is Puerto Escondido? It's about an hour flight out of Mexico City. I would say it's Southwest of Mexico City.
What's special about Puerto Escondido? Obviously, for Westerners like ourselves, we usually think of Cancun, Acapulco, Los Cabos and Mexico City. But Puerto Escondido is a hidden paradise. It's popular with backpackers, surfers and Mexican tourists. I did not see many Westerners there during our vacation. PE is known for it's beaches and waves for surfing.
What did we do? Go to the beach, the beaches are different than those in Hawaii in that the sand is not as fine and packed more with locals than tourists. Not a lot of swimmable beaches due to the surf condition. We hung out by the pool, swam a lot, visited the local public market (see pictures below) and basically just relaxed.
I would have loved to spend more time in the town to get a feel of the culture but not knowing the language makes it a bit difficult but nonetheless, the people that I interacted with were extremely warm and kind.
Here are some pictures of PE and the locals.

Finding Cho Cho
One of my neighbors has a band called Finding Cho Cho. He had a house party recently and his band played. I managed to get some shots of them playing their sets. They played some covers of U2 and other bands as well as their own original songs. If they are in your neighborhood, go check them out
